Att jag är en riktig serienörd är väl ingen direkt hemlighet, haha. Jag älskar när man kan följa en historia längre än två timmar som en vanlig film är och verkligen får lära känna karaktärerna. Så jag tänkte att det var dags för mig att tipsa om 10 riktigt bra serier som många av er kanske har missat. Jag har skippat de vanligaste som jag tror att många av er redan har koll på och har gått på de som inte blivit riktigt lika kända eller som är så pass nya så att de inte ens kommit till Sverige än. Alla dessa 10 är superserier som jag rekommenderar varmt!
Säsonger: 1. Utlovad en andra som börjar sändas i höst.
Typ: Blivit kallad en blandning av Gossip Girl och Game of Thrones. Jag tycker att det är lite tonårsdrama fast i en ny miljö, börjar tröttna lite på High School.
Handling: ”Chronicles the rise to power of Mary Queen of Scots when she arrives in France as a 15-year-old, betrothed to Prince Francis, and with her three best friends as ladies-in-waiting. It details the secret history of survival at French Court amidst fierce foes, dark forces, and a world of sexual intrigue.”
Säsonger: 1. Det har precis kommit ett avsnitt av säsong 2.
Typ: Action/Drama/Sci-Fi. Riktigt spännade och det känns ”nytt”.
Handling: ”A streetwise hustler is pulled into a compelling conspiracy after witnessing the suicide of a girl who looks just like her.” Riktigt tråkig beskrivning, I know, men denna serie blir verkligen så mycket bättre ju mindre men vet innan.
Säsonger: 3, det ser ut som att det även blir en fjärde.
Typ: Comedy/Drama/Romance. Denna serie har verkligen högsta möjliga mysfaktor! Lättsam och härlig.
Handling: ”New Yorker and new doctor Zoe Hart accepts an offer from a stranger, Dr. Harley Wilkes, to work in his medical practice in Bluebell, Alabama. She arrives to find he has died and left half the practice to her in his will.”
Säsonger: 1, den andra släpps i Juni. (Netflixserie)
Typ: Comdy/Crime/Drama. Denna serie är verkligen en blandning av allt, otroligt bra!
Handling: ”The story of Piper Chapman, a woman in her thirties who is sentenced to fifteen months in prison after being convicted of a decade-old crime of transporting money for her drug-dealing girlfriend.”
Säsonger: 7.
Typ: Comedy/Drama. Även detta en supermysig serie som får en att skratta och må bra!
Handling: ”A drama centering around the relationship between a thirtysomething single mother and her teen daughter living in Stars Hollow, Connecticut.”
Säsonger: 2.
Typ: Drama/Thriller/Romance. Denna är lite ”tjejigare” än vad den ser ut.
Handling: ”Detective Catherine Chandler (Kristin Kreuk), shaken to the core over the fact that everything she thought she knew about her life has been a lie, is determined to get answers to the secrets that have been revealed about her family. Cat must also try to navigate her evolving relationship with handsome doctor Vincent Keller (Jay Ryan), who struggles with becoming a terrifying beast when he is enraged, unable to control his super-strength and heightened senses. Cat and Vincent continue to grapple with the desire to be a normal couple while trying to keep a low profile in order to stay one step ahead of the mysterious organization known as Muirfield, now on the hunt for both of them.”
Säsonger: 1, den andra börjar sändas i sommar i USA.
Typ: Drama, drama, drama!
Handling: ”A drama about the scandalous lives of a group of four girlfriends – each on her own path to self-discovery as they brave the turbulent journey together. Meet Savi, a successful career woman working toward the next phase in her life, both professional and personal; simultaneously bucking for partner at her law firm while she and her husband Harry are trying to start a family of their own. Säsonger: Finns bara några avsnitt än så länge, men det ser ljust ut!
Typ: Drama/Sci-Fi. Helt ny serie som jag bara älskar, en riktigt skön kontrast i miljöombyte och handling från många andra serier!
Handling: ”Set 97 years after a nuclear war has destroyed civilization, when a spaceship housing humanity’s lone survivors sends 100 juvenile delinquents back to Earth in hopes of possibly re-populating the planet.”
Säsonger: 3 och en film. Prat om att nu efter filmen spela in en fjärde säsong pga. så bra respons från fans.
Typ: Crime/Drama. Bästa bästa serien med alla kryddor från kryddlådan.
Handling: ”After her best friend is murdered and her father is removed as county sheriff, Veronica Mars dedicates her life to cracking the toughest mysteries in the affluent town of Neptune.”
Säsonger: 1, utlovat en andra.
Typ: Drama/Fantasy/Skräck. En vampyrserie baserad på The Vampire Diaries.
Handling: ”The Originals is a spin-off from The Vampire Diaries which centres around the Mikaleson siblings, Klaus, Elijah and Rebekah. It is revealed that the werewolf Hayley is pregnant with Klaus’ child and would therefore join the cast. The show begins with the original siblings returning to the city of New Orleans for the first time since 1919. Having originally built the city, they had been forced to flee from their vengeful father. In their absence, Klaus’ protégé, Marcel, took charge of the city. Klaus resolves that they must take down Marcel and get back the city which once belonged to them.”
